He has toured worldwide as singer and as performer of computer-assisted performance electronics. He has collaborated in the creation of eight compact disc recordings, two of which were chosen by The New York Times as among the top ten CDs of new music for their respective release years. Nandkishor Muley is recognized as one of the great masters of the Indian santur. Concertizing at world music festivals throughout the world, Nandkishor has introduced the santur and Indian music to many countries that had never before heard this instrument.
